Studies have shown that dogs have the same chemicals in their brains as humans. That gives them the ability to feel pain, saddness and fear. They know when they are loved and when they are not.

Dogs are pack animals by nature. You are their pack leader. They depend on you for their physical and emotional wellbeing.
